Summer-your starving your body! Your body will want to hang onto the fat because your not eating enough. No, I'm not an expert but I have done my share of reading diet books and weight watchers. I think this is really neat that you are doing this-I'm not brave enough to do it! Supper job!

Hi Summer,
This is Crystal (Hicks) Pinegar. I don't even remember how I found your blog. It was a link from a friend, from a friend, from a friend. Somehow I stumbled accross yours. I hope you don't mind. :

Normally I wouldn't comment on someone's blog that I don't know all that well, but I'm worried you are starving yourself.

I know losing weight is hard. I gain about 50 pounds every time I have a baby and it takes me about a year to get down everytime.

You need to eat 5-6 small meals a day, like 300 calories each; don't go more then 3 hours with out eating, it keeps your metabolism going. If you starve yourself it just makes your body tank and you go into starvation mode and hold onto fat. Not to mention you will have no energy. And you NEED protein, every meal. It will help keep you filled up and it is the best way to lose weight. Protein shakes are great, you can do that twice a day. Eat chicken, tuna, turkey, fish, and lean beef, cottage cheese, nuts, cheese and yogurt. Eat as many vegetables as you want. And don't be afraid of healthy carbs, in moderation (that's my weakness). Drink lots and lots of water! I also like to plan cheating time once a week. Make it worth it and then move on.

Make sure you exercise, but don't go nuts!

Sorry to but in but I have starved myself before and it made me really sick.

I have always thought you were beautiful and I wish you the best of luck!

I second all that has been said! You Turkey! You know better than that! Use the meal plans I sent you. They have protein, fats and carbs all in balance. Trust me-I figured them out on my software that I have for my clients. You will feel much better than just eating nothing. sure you will see some initial weight loss, but who in the world can keep up doing what you are doing and feeling how you probably feel on those days when you only eat like 800 calories. Let me know a time that works for you and I will be over-seriosly please just call me!
